BAY C-1 · WHAT FAMILIES FIND USEFUL

A Written Record Changes What Happens Next

One Accurate List

Before any professional meeting, families need to know what they hold. A catalogued inventory makes that conversation straightforward.

Shared Access for Relatives

A permissioned digital archive means family members in different locations consult the same material without duplicating effort.

Work Done in Defined Time

Sessions and programmes run to a fixed scope. Families know before we begin what will be covered and what the finished record contains.

Confidential Handling

All documents are handled within the family's premises. Records are not shared with third parties. Estwell holds no copies after handover.

BAY D-1 · NEXT STEP

Ready to put your family's records in order?

An initial call takes about fifteen minutes. We discuss what the family holds, which service fits the scope, and when an appointment works. No commitment required at that stage.

BAY E-1 · COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions Families Usually Ask

What exactly is a catalogue of estate records?
A catalogue is a written register listing every document or object in scope — its type, physical location, reference number and condition. It does not assign values, interpret ownership or advise on what should happen next. It simply records what exists and where it is.
Does the cataloguing service replace a lawyer or a notary?
No. Estwell is an administrative and cataloguing service. We do not provide legal, financial or regulatory advice. Many families find it easier to approach lawyers, bankers or administrators once they have a clear written inventory — that is the purpose the catalogue serves.
How long does the inventory session take?
The Estate Records Inventory Session runs for three hours at the family's premises. The written inventory and labelled folder set are delivered before we leave. A follow-up summary email follows within one working day.
What happens to our documents during the cataloguing visits?
All work takes place at your premises. Originals do not leave the building. Where scanning is included in your service, digital copies are placed on the provided storage drive and handed over at the end of the engagement. Estwell retains no copies.
Can the service be arranged before a bereavement, as a planning step?
Yes. A considerable number of families engage Estwell while the record-holder is still living, so that everyone knows where documents are held and a clear register exists. The Family Archive and Handover Programme is designed with this in mind.
How is the cost structured — is there anything additional?
Each service is priced as stated. The inventory session is RM 530. The cataloguing service is RM 1,570. The nine-month programme is RM 4,420. All materials listed in the service description are included. Travel within Kuala Lumpur is included for standard appointments; locations outside the city are discussed at enquiry stage.
